Heart Patient Saved After Dying 7 Times

690863_533_355Α group of four people, a doctor, a nurse , a technologist-radiologist and the driver of the ambulance managed to save a 54-year-old patient in the health center of Skiathos, after he had died seven times.
The coming-back-to-life case resulted from the patient’s heart stopping seven times while he was being treated, and each time resuscitated, under the direction of the center’s physician,  Nikos Sakelaropoulos.
The doctor managed to do it in an old center with little modern equipment and dealing with a patient with serious heart disease, an Athenian vacationing on the island.
According to thessalinews.gr, the patient was connected from the beginning to the monitor showing his heart rate and pulse and the four-person team had to work closely together to make the miracle work, which was aided by his close proximity to the center.
It was said if had suffered such a severe cardiac arrhythmia in Athens, where he lives, the time required for the arrival of the ambulance and his transfer to the hospital would likely have proved to be fatal.
