Pregnant Romanian Forced Into Prostitution

321E9D916027AECD33133A03B8A574F1A  28-year-old pregnant woman from Romania told Greek police she was forced to prostitute herself by human traffickers in Thessalia and made to have sex with a number of men despite her condition.
The young woman’s story began in June when authorities said two Romanian men, taking advantage of her adverse financial situation and claiming that they would find her a job, convinced her to come to Greece.
Initially, she was living in a sheep barn located in Larissa, Greece, where she said a compatriot of hers was sexually abusing her. A few days later, the young woman, who was four months pregnant, said she was taken by two other Romanians, a man and a woman, to their house in Trikala.
There, she said, she was forced to work as a unpaid farmer and made into a prostitute sex slave. The Romanian couple had her locked up in their house so that she could not escape.
She said she told them her family was looking for her and that she was taken to a bus station and then went to Thessaloniki and reported to police what had happened.
