Police are investigating why a car crashed into a bus stop in Thessaloniki on the morning of Aug. 20 at Oreokastro, hitting a group of people waiting, killing a 63-year-old man and injuring four others.
The tragic accident occurred on the Thessaloniki Highway. Among the injured were two children although it was not reported to be serious, while two women with more extensive injuries were taken to the hospital.
The 20-year-old driver of the car was being questioned. Ambulances, Fire Services and police vehicles immediately rushed to the scene.
