The Hellenic Initiative, a global nonprofit whose mission is mobilize the Greek diaspora to support sustainable economic renewal for Greece and its people announced its first banquet set to take place in New York on October 3rd.
The focus of this year’s banquet is “Investing in the Future of Greece,” and all funds raised will support nonprofit organizations responding to the ongoing economic crisis in Greece. The prominent group will be joined by our honorary patron President Bill Clinton and George Stephanopoulos will serve as master of ceremonies.
The event will honor three distinguished individuals for their service to the people of Greece: Mr. Andreas Dracopoulos on behalf of The Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Mr. Muhtar Kent, Chairman and CEO of The Coca Cola Company and Mr. Andrew N. Liveris, Chairman and CEO of The Dow Chemical Company.
