Greek-Australian Gerry Georgatos will be a candidate for the Australian Senate under the flag of the newly founded WikiLeaks Party. Last week, the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, announced the candidates of the party in the upcoming national elections in Australia.
Through the Embassy of Ecuador in London, where Assange found asylum, he released the names of the seven candidates of his party for the Senate, from Victoria, Western Australia and New South Wales. Georgatos deals with the human rights of the Aborigines.
