Germany Sees No Greek Aid Delay

4--8-thumb-mediumContradicting reports that contradicted other reports that international loans to Greece would be delayed because of reservations over the slow pace of reforms, the German Ministry of Finance said it expects the monies to be released on time, spokesman Hans Joachim Narzynski said.

He underlined that the European Union expects that Greek will fulfill “very soon” the last preconditions.

“Given that troika expects that there will soon be a confirmation from Greece, we do not expect no delay,” stated Narzynski, referring to the European Union-International Monetary Fund-European Central Bank (EU-IMF-ECB).

The next installment is expected now to be released on July 29. The Troika has authorized another 8.1 billion euros ($10.46 billion) for Greece but said the government must meet strict financial targets to insure it will keep coming. .
