In a trip to Poland, Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefaloyianni met her counterpart Polish Sport and Tourism Minister Joanna Mucha as well as the Deputy Tourism Minister Katarzyna Sobierajska.
They talked about increasing the number of Polish visitors to Greece as part of an agreement between theĀ countries and Greek President Karolos Papoulias’ visit to Poland on July 8-9.
According to the agreement, the participation of both Greek and Polish national tourism organizations in tourism exhibitions, tourism students and experts exchange programs is provided, the news agency AMNA reported.
Kefaloyianni also held meetings with Greek and Polish businessmen, mainly focusing on the prospects of tourism sector investments in Greece. She highlighted that Greece is a safe and hospitable destination which is able to offer several alternative tourism options.
