The wide-circulation Austrian newspaper Kurier in its June 30 edition had a tribute to the Cyclades islands, “Four among the 27 islands of the Cyclades, Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos and Paros, have one thing in common; dreamy beaches, crystal clear sea waters… with the typical blue and white architecture and good accessibility by plane or boat.”
The southernmost of the islands, Santorini, offers the most beautiful photographic patterns of the Mediterranean, according to the publication entitled, Four Greek islands in test, referring to the beauties of the crater of the volcano, the white houses nested on the rocks and the uniqueness of the sunset, with the idyllic picture having as a unique “shadow” the fact that the island, which is mainly marked by tourism, is almost deserted between October and April.
For Mykonos, it is mentioned, among others, that no other island has such beautiful beaches and such a beautiful old town, as well as such an intense night life, which starts early in the afternoon.
Naxos is characterized a natural paradise, which is green even in the summer and in which one encounters agricultural crops, something particularly rare in the Cyclades, with tourism being concentrated around the town.
