The two companies signed an agreement concerning the joint management of 2G and 3G networks, an investment which will reach 200 million euros and will create over 650 new jobs in the next three years.

With this investment, which was under discussion for a long time, Vodafone and Wind aim to exploit as much as possible the synergies deriving from this deal, while reducing the cost.

The Minister of Development and Infrastructure, Kostis Hatzidakis, and the Deputy Minister, Notis Mitarakis, were present at the meeting.
“We had good news today. I’m sure that we will have more good news from other relative or different fields,” Mitarakis said. He also added that, “Today’s agreement is an example for other investments in the following period.”
