Famous Greek rock singer, Vasilis Papakonstantinou, will sing on the evening of June 21 in front of the building of ERT, participating in the events in support of the Greek Broadcasting Corporation.
ERT employees answer to the agreement that the two government parties, ND and PASOK seem to have reached concerning ERT’s future, by saying “We won’t give up until all of ERT is again open.”
“The deep wounds on the body of Democracy will only be healed if ERT stays open! Our struggle is unyielding,” ERT employees stated in their announcement. They are determined to stay in their posts and continue to broadcast via EBU. They invite people to come every day and every night to the “Radiomegaro.”
Earlier on June 21, the government spokesman, Simos Kedikoglou, stated that the new program of NERIT will be broadcasted in a couple of days, on the condition that the ERT building will be evacuated.
