The suicide of a 48-year old man, father of eight children, has shocked the people of Lefka, Patras. According to preliminary information, the man was found hanged at his home in a social housing region of St. Nikolaos, Lefka.
The 48-year-old was working at Agios Andreas Hospital, while his wife, who found him, is pregnant with their ninth child. According to patrastimes.gr, the man committed suicide because of a sudden health problem.
The tragic news plunged the relatives and the entire neighborhood into mourning. The neighborhood knew the large family and spoke of a quiet and smiling man.
