The exhibition, The Antikythera Shipwreck: the Ship, the Treasures, the Mechanism, which is housed at the National Archaeological Museum, will be hosted from March 2014 and for one year at the museum of Basel.
This was publicized earlier by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Kostas Tzavaras, during a press conference he gave earlier about the Prespia Festival, at the Acropolis Museum.
“It is a good time to travel abroad the treasures of our cultural heritage, within extroverted procedures and spirit, because this is our obligation: to spread what we have received and to utilize it,” Tzavaras said.
