The First Mass at St. Macrina Church in Nigde After 90 Years

St. Macrina Church in NigdeFener Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew officiated the first mass at St. Macrina Church after 90 years in the Turkish central Anatolian province of Nigde.
Greece’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Maksimos Harakopulos and members of the societies from Argentina, Greece and Istanbul attended the mass.
The mass participants sang hymns by holding candles.
Saint Macrina the Younger was born at Caesarea, Cappadocia. She is accepted as a holy woman and instructed many young women religiously.
