On Sunday, June 9, at 11 am, Breast Cancer Information Day will be held on “How a woman could preserve her health and be protected against breast cancer, a plague that threatens women’s lives.”
The Municipality of Nafplio, willing to actively help its fellow citizens, has organized open information days on contemporary issues addressed to large population groups. One of them is dedicated to women, given that their increasing participation in population control programs has led to a sharp decline in mortality due to early diagnosis and improved therapeutic interventions.
The General Hospital and Medical Association of Argolida, the Hellenic Society for Breast Cancer Disease, the Hellenic Nurses Association as well as the Club of Midwives; Maiefton of Argolida, stand beside this great effort while significant support is also offered by the Association of Cancer Patients and Friends of Argolida, Solidarity.
The main target of this effort is to hopefully provide women with valid scientific information that will offer them those tools necessary to prevent or in some other cases effectively respond to breast cancer treatment.
