A 25-year-old Cretan was sentenced to 16 months in jail – but then released on appeal – after being convicted of the rape of his neighbor’s goat, after he was caught in the act and reportedly had been engaging in frequent sexual relations with the animal.
The finding of a provincial court was reported by mellon.gr which said that according to the indictment, the young man arrested was caught raping a goat in his neighbor’s stall, outside the village.
The site reported that suspicions were aroused in the village when the defendant was seen repeatedly going into the barn by another resident.
He told the owner who brought the case to the court. The last one imposed a 16-months imprisonment to the offender and after the appeal of the convicted, he was released.
