Explosion Near Greek Embassy in Libya

bomb_Greek-embassy-in-LibyaThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that on the afternoon of May 18, a low power explosive device went off on the street where the Embassies of Greece, Saudi Arabia and Algeria are located. According to the announcement, the device had been placed opposite the Greek Embassy.

No injuries or damage to the building were caused.

The Agence France-Presse, reported that according to information by a security service man, the homemade bomb had been placed near a car which was parked there and the explosion caused damage to the vehicle’s tires.
