Greek-German Allies In Tech Research

technology-projectsThe Federal Ministry for Research and Technology in Germany, along with the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) in Greece will offer €5 million ($6.5 million) to support Greek-German cooperation in applied research and technology.

As the advisor for Economic and Commercial Matters in the Consulate General of Greece in Munich, Christina Stefanidou reported in an information paper, cooperation plans between university and non-university research foundations and companies with members from Greece and Germany are supported.

“Our Office has been informed by the Bavarian Company IBB Netzerk GmbH about the post on the website Budnesanzeiger of a relative announcement concerning the financial support of Greek-German plans on applied research and technology,” she said.

Plans on applied research and technology in the fields of health, bioeconomy, energy and renewable sources of energy, nanotechnology, visual technologies, digital technology services and social sciences will be supported. Closure date to submit plans for Germans is June 3.
