Paulina Jayne Knows Country Music

Rising Greek-American country singer Paulina Jayne has received four nominations for the Detroit Music Awards, including in the top categories and said he’s excited and hoping to win.

In an interview with New York journalist Markos Papadatos about being considered for outstanding vocalist/band, songwriter, song and People’s Choice Song, she said,” “That was so cool and it was such an honor. My band will be excited too and we are looking forward to it.”
She said she was inspired by such artists as Blackberry Smoke, Adele, Pink and Miranda Lambert. Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with such artists as Kenny Chesney and Sheryl Crow.
“Opening for Sheryl Crow at the DTE Music Theater was one of my favorite shows that I have ever played. Sheryl and her whole band were absolutely incredible,” she sated. “Opening for Kenny was a dream come true for me and I hope to do it again next year.”
She wrote the song Mississippi Girl at the age of 14 and said it’s one of her favorites. The country songstress revealed that this summer she will play a lot of live shows and she is looking forward to her forthcoming CD release party.
