Get ready to see a whole lot more of John Stamos on television.
In addition to his recurring role on the comedy “The New Normal,” and his recent casting for the NBC pilot “I Am Victor,” the Greek-American has landed a recurring role in season three of the USA Network drama “Necessary Roughness.”
Stamos will play Connor McClane, the founder of a sports and entertainment management company on the cable-based series, which centers on a Long Island divorcee (Callie Thorne) who gets a job as a therapist for a professional football team. As her career takes off with other athletes, celebrities and well-known public figures, she has to learn to balance between work and being a single mother.
No word on how many episodes Stamos will appear in. The third season of “Necessary Roughness” got the greenlight from USA back in January for 10 episodes.
