Greek MEPs participated in a roundtable discussion on Governance and European Political integration, organized by the French Institute of Athens in collaboration with the European Parliament Office in Greece. The talk converged on the idea of constant efforts, new ideas and wide social recognition, in order to express European values.
“In any discussion on political union issue, the contention of the globalization, Internet subject and the growing Euro-skepticism which have caused EU’s shortcomings, should be taken into consideration,” Marietta Giannakou, Head of the Greek EPP Delegation, said.
Didier Georgakakis, Professor of Political Science at Université Paris – Panthéon Sorbonne, participated in the discussion as well. Georgakakis referred to the internal structure of EU’s Institutions. The coordinator of the discussion was the journalist Athanasios Papandropoulos.
