A double murder was reported Dec. 6 in the village of Molos, in the Fthiotis prefecture in central Greece.
An 18-year-old boy who was living with his 89 year-old grandmother argued with her for unknown reasons and then stabbed her to death.
A 74-year-old neighbor who heard the woman’s screams went to see what was happening and was rushed by the young man, who in a manic rage, fatally stabbed him with the same knife.
The neighbor’s wife who had also gone to see what was happening was attacked and seriously injured. She was rushed to Lamia hospital.
The police managed to subdue the perpetrator and arrest him after more than half an hour, and took him to Lamia hospital where he remains under guard and still in a manic rage.
