Mt. Athos Tastes in German Restaurants

During the last week of November, Mt. Athos Area Gourmet transferred the monastery cuisine and the tastes of the Athonite wines to Germany. At the Greek restaurants Toxotis in Dusseldorf and the Blau Gelb Restaurant of Frankfurt, foods from Mt. Athos, as well as other attractions, were presented.

Customers were offered a monastery menu, inspired by the book entitled The cuisine of Mount Athos which is published among other languages in German. The menu was prepared by the author, Monk Epifanios the Milopotaminos and his team, and from the chef of Eagles Palace Resort & Spa Elias Gkotsis.
