The auction includes the Triptych of Yiannis Spyropoulos, Mermaid Figurehead of Yiannis Moralis, the House of Yannis Tsarouchis in Maroussi, an oil painting depicting the Tsarouchis Museum, expected to fetch between $128,000-$192,000.
As stated in the Olympia Pappas specialist on art about Bonhams, the auction of Greek Sale will continue despite the climate that has been created by the crisis, pointing out that it is estimated that there will be considerable interest in the current auction because of the quality of unique works auctioned. It also will include the works of Alekos Fassianos, Konstantinos Maleas, Paris Preka, Thanou Tsingou, Alexis Akrithaki, Theophilos, Yannis Gaitis and other important Greek painters.
