Being Greek for A Day in Kogarah, Sydney

The Greek Orthodox Community & Parish of Kogarah in Sydney will present a unique,  innovative and historic Greek Festival which will take place in the beautiful waterfront Carss Bush Park in Kogarah on the 28th of October, 2012. This event is sponsored by MP &K Sponsors in conjunction with  the Kogarah City Council.

This day will coincide with the 72nd Anniversary of OXI Day, celebrated by Hellenes across the globe and is known to many as a second National Day in Greece. The festival promises to deliver an event which will showcase what being Greek is about through cultural exhibits, entertainment, delicious Greek food and everything else Greek not to mention a Guinness World Record attempt for the Largest Zorba Syrtaki dance in the world.

The event will also feature internationally renowned entertainment and a variety of Greek-Australian celebrities in attendance during the day as well as paying tribute to the Greek-Australian contribution to Australia.
