John Stamos and ‘Full House’ Cast Reunite After 25 Years

It’s hard to believe the popular television series “Full House” began 25 years ago. The show, which hit the airwaves in 1987, made John Stamos, aka “Uncle Jesse,” a household name.

Over the weekend, the cast – minus the Olsen twins – got together to celebrate the series with an outdoor party. Cast members took to twitter, posting pictures and shouting each other out while dancing to New Kids on the Block.

Stamos doesn’t seem to have changed all too much except for a mullet he sported on the show. As Jesse Katsopolis, he played the brother-in-law of widower and father Danny Tanner who was left with three little girls to raise. In the first season, Uncle Jesse went by the last name Cochran, but Stamos wanted to change it to reflect his Greek roots. In later seasons, he married Danny’s morning television co-host, Rebecca, and had twins, Nicky and Alex.

‘Full House’ cast: Candace Bure (D.J. Tanner), Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Lori Loughlin (Becky Katsopolis), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), Scott Weinger (Steve Hale).
