The list of celebrities spending their summer vacations in Greece this year was long indeed. After John Travolta, Robert DeNiro, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and many others, actress Demi Moore was the next Hollywood star to arrive.
Residents of the Aegean island of Mykonos saw Moore having dinner at a well-known restaurant. Eye-witnesses said they were amazed to see the gorgeous Moore since neither Greek nor international media were aware of her visit.
One of the world’s richest people, Russian business tycoon Roman Abramovic, spent some days on the island of Kefalonia. Without any security accompanying him, he enjoyed a bicycle ride, and a tavern owner in Fiscardo, Tassia Dendrinos, told Greek reporters that she could not believe that the man entering her tavern was Abramovic.
One of the world’s best-known business executives and owner of the Chelsea soccer team in the English league, Abramovic said he was very hungry and told Mrs. Dendrinos to cook whatever she liked. “We grilled some fresh fish for Mr. Abramovic, but we did not fulfill one of his wishes; he asked some gooseberry for dessert, but we did not have any,” she said, adding that “a man from Abramovic’s companions told her not to cook any lobster because it’s expensive!”
