Greek Food Companies Promote Products at Australian Exhibit

Greek and Cypriot companies are gearing up to display their products from Sept. 10-13 in Melbourne, where some 35 businesses from the two countries will participate in Australia’s largest international food and hospitality event.

More than 1,000 companies representing the retail, food service and hospitality industries in Australia will be vying for the attention of more than 24,000 trade buyers expected at the convention, Neos Kosmos reported. The Hellenic Foreign Trade Board will present a Greek pavilion with 12 Greek companies showcasing products including olive oil, olives, milk, cheeses, wine, ouzo and raki.

Fine food Australia is a trade-only event. This year’s exhibition includes several other events. The Fine Food Best New Product Awards celebrates excellence and innovation in the food industry and presents an opportunity for innovative businesses to receive attention. Spanning four categories, the awards recognize the finest food retail and foodservice products, bakery products and hospitality equipment produced over the past year.  For more information visit www.finefoodaustralia.com.au.
