The upcoming feature film The Final Payoff, directed by Alexander Leontaritis has just finished filming and gone into post-production. The story of the film, inspired by true events and by the economic crisis in Greece, is about an ex-boxer working for a loan shark, who tries to change his life and get out of the underworld.
The film was produced by Desmida (www.desmida.com), a production team created by Leontaritis and Greg Terzakis who also has the lead role in the movie. The cast includes Yannis Bostanztoglou, Giorgos Giannopoulos, Eleni Filini, Chris Theofilatos, Ladydust, Argyris Thanasoulas, Vangelis Mourikis, Haris Georgiadis, Theofylaktos Argyrou ,Manos Katsaburis, Avraam Papadopoulos,Tety Kalafati, and many others.
The cinematography was by Vlasis Skoulis and original music by George Krezos. Songs that will be heard in the movie will be from Marika’s Papazoglou (Neraida) album Outside the Box that was recorded in LA. The post-production will be completed around November and after that the movie will be sent to film festivals and be ready for distribution in Greece and other countries in 2013.
