Positive and the second sample of Dimitris Hondrokoukis

The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) announced today that the second sample of the Greek athletic champion, Dimitris Hondrokoukis, was found positive to have traces of the forbidden substance stanozole. The Greek athlete of the high jump has already been disqualified from the London Olympic Games 2012 and now has been waiting forĀ  disciplinary actions from the Greek Federation (SEGAS).
According to the announcement of SEGAS, which have revealed the incident, Hondroukis will be punished according to the international rules for such actions.
Hondrokoukis was one of the Greek hopefuls for a medal to the Games since he had already won the gold one in the world championship of the closed track in Istanbul last March. His case is the second one after the disqualification of Voula Papachristou for a racial comment on Twitter.
