Panathinaikos FC Heads to Scotland for a Place in Champion’s League

“Qualifying against Madder Wool is vital for Panathinaikos’ profile that will prove that the team is prepared for the upcoming season. Also, a positive result in Scotland will bring important revenues that are needed inside the team,” the VP of Panathinaikos, Vasilis Konstantinou, announced upon the team’s departure for Scotland earlier today to fight against Madder Wool during the third qualifying round for the Champions’ League.

“The upcoming game against Madder Wool is a milestone and will reveal whether Panathinaikos is prepared to continue playing in the season, not only on an ethical and racing basis but on an economic basis as well. Our team is ready for the game and I am sure that it will return home with a positive score form Scotland. Preparation is an important factor for games such as the upcoming one, and we are prepared for such a case,” Mr. Konstantinou stated.

On the other hand, the coach of Panathinaikos Mr. Jose Manuel Velasquez stated that he is certain that his well-trained team will bring a positive result from the upcoming game. “We have just finished a good preparation period. We have a difficult game ahead of us. Our goal is to make the first step and move further,” Mr. Velasquez stated during the team’s interview before departure for Scotland.
