Until the end of August, books for secondary schools, high schools as well as for vocational schools will have been distributed, and until the 5th of September all books for primary schools will also have been delivered to schools in Greece.
This was confirmed by the Minister of Religion, Education, Culture and Sports, Mr. Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos who visited the Unit of Storage, Selection and Shipment of school books in the city of Oinofyta, in order to be informed of the process of the books’ distribution.
Until today, all books for secondary schools have already been printed and around half have already been sent to schools in Greece. Regarding the books for primary schools, more than half of their total number has also been delivered.
Mr. Arvanitopoulos has asked officials and their employees working in the Ministry of Religion, Education, Culture and Sports to put all their efforts in order to finish with the distribution in good time, as all books must have been delivered by the schools’ staff before the beginning of the new academic year.
