The Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Demetres Avramopoulos met with Australian Ambassador in Athens Jenny Bloomfield to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries in a large number of fields, such as economy and investments, on July 8.
The two praised the role of the Greeks of the Diaspora at enhancing the intercultural exchange and bolstering cooperation and friendship between Greece and Australia.
The economic crisis in the Euro area and the improvement of Greece’s international image were among the topics discussed by Mr Avramopoulos and J. Bloomfield during their unofficial meeting.
