Two Greek Soldiers Slightly Injured in Afghanistan

Two Greek soldiers who have been in Afghanistan as part of the Greek armed forces got injured when a fuel station exploded just outside the Greek soldiers’ main camp in Kabul. This station had, according to tovima.gr, propane tanks and thus, the explosion was thunderous.

The two Greek soldiers made an effort to close one of the gates of the camp’s storage facility which were made of iron to avoid further explosion and damage. But when they grabbed the handles, they were burnt.

Fortunately, their injuries were not severe. Both of them are out of danger and are under supervision by an army doctor. Their suffered from light burns, and they are expected to recover soon.
