It was an exciting evening at the Baku Crystal Hall where in front of thousands of people in the arena and millions of people on TV, Loreen from Sweden won the 2012 Eurovision.

Eleftheria Eleftheriou representing Greece and Ivi Adamou representing Cyprus placed 17th and 16th in the final of the Eurovision 2012 contest that took place in in Baku, Azerbaijan on May 26, 2012.

Both singers had good stage presence but failed to gain the necessary points to be among the top 10.

Eleftheriou’s song “Aphrodisiac” is a pop song with English lyrics. Adamou’s La La Love has become a hit in Greece and Cyprus but it did not have the same luck in the contest.
