Stelios and Andrea Papageorgiou Exhibit Their Paintings in Hungary

Stelios Papageorgiou and his daughter Andrea live in Budapest. Their relationship does not remain limited to family gatherings, they “communicate” to each other through their Greek culture-orientated paintings. Both of them have exhibited their paintings several times, have participated in many team exhibitions outside Hungary, where they live and share the same dream, to promote Greece through their work and become well-known in Greece, as well. At the present time, Stelios and Andrea Papageorgiou exhibit their work in Budapest.

Stelios Papageorgiou is born in Budapest in 1950. Son of Greek immigrants, he showed his inclination to painting at a very young age. When computers entered became popular, he tried and managed to develop a new, mixed art, preserving the past. Through his artwork, he sent modern messages. He learned how to scan his paintings and some of his designs to turn them into pictures by means of the computer.

His daughter and colleague Andrea was born in Budapest in 1980. Art critics call her “the continuity of Greek painters of the 19th century,” such as Demetris Lakkataris, Nako Berta, Sterio Karoly, and Lyka Karoly.
