Poets Demonstrate In Athens To Bring Attention To Greek Economic Crisis

Greek poets will take to the streets as peaceful demonstrators on Wednesday, the 21st of March, when World Poetry Day is being celebrated.
The poets will be protesting the economic crisis in Greece that affects the life of Greek people.
Hundreds of publishing houses, artists from Greece and abroad, as well as ordinary people will show support and solidarity with that peaceful demonstration.
The demonstration, accompanied by banners with poetry, will begin at 12:00 p.m. from Ianos at Stadiou Street and will end up at Syntagma Square.
During the demonstration, dance events will be presented by the State School of Dance as well as music events by street groups.
