The HACCI Internship Program is a new initiative adopted by the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry that gives young people an opportunity to be placed within a quality organisation for a set period of time.
The Internship Program connects young Hellenes with the business community by providing opportunities for invaluable work and life experience. Interns receive quality skills, training, and mentoring from their host organisation. HACCI also offers support and mentoring to candidates during their internship.
The Internship Program is primarily aimed at people aged 18-25 and covers all industries, whether small or large businesses, professional services, not-for-profit organisations or any other type of organisation that may benefit from this program.
Internships are specifically tailored to the needs of any potential host-organisations so the duration of the internship, the working hours, the training syllabus, any remuneration and other details may vary from one internship position to another.
Once the term of the internship is over, the intern would have received valuable experience, expanded contacts, personal growth, a certificate from HACCI and, possibly in some cases, the opportunity for employment within the organisation. The benefits of participating in the Internship Program for host-organizations include exposure to talented youth within the Hellenic community, providing invaluable opportunities for youth, official recognition of their business and the presentation of a certificate at the annual HACCI Gala Awards event.
Organisations can express their interest by simply contacting HACCI and a member of the Internship Committee will contact you as soon as possible.

If applicants are interested in gaining experience in an area not covered in any of the positions currently advertised, they should nevertheless send their CV to HACCI and express their desired industry preference.
HACCI is passionate about linking business and the community. The internship program is aimed at creating opportunities for young people that may not otherwise have been available to them without such a program.
