UAE-based Emirates has renewed its sponsorship with Olympiacos FC, the Greek association football club which is a part of Olympiacos CFP, based in Piraeus, according to ‘Trade Arabia Information’.
A statement from the airline says that it will partner with the club for another two seasons and the renewal will include the ‘Fly Emirates’ signage displayed at the Karaiskaki stadium, the home of Olympiacos, as well as promotional and hospitality rights.
Salem Obaidallah, Emirates’ senior vice president commercial operations, Europe and Russian Federation stated regarding the renewal of the sponsorship: “This sponsorship with Olympiacos underlines Emirates’ commitment to sports fans worldwide, but especially to our customers in Greece”.
Except for European football club sponsorships, the airlines is also an official partner of the Fifa World Cup, the official airline of 12 golf tournaments internationally and supports a range of high-profile horse racing, tennis, rugby, sailing, and cricket events across the globe, the statement said.
