Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Stavros Dimas met on Tuesday with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on the sidelines of OSCE Ministerial Council in Vilnius, Lithuania.
This was first meeting between the two foreign ministers since Dimas assumed office on November 11, 2011.
Turkish diplomatic sources said Davutoglu had invited Dimas to visit Turkey, citing the Turkish FM as telling his Greek counterpart that Turkey was ready to extend help regarding Greece’s efforts to tackle the current economic crisis.
