St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church Presents Christmas Concert

St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church will present its second annual Christmas concert titled, “Sing Gloria,” on Friday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. at the Allerton United Methodist Church, Clinton Township, New Jersey.

Under the direction of choir director Diana Grina, the concert and youth choirs will perform classical, traditional and Byzantine arrangements of sacred Christmas music from around the globe, including Rachmaninoff’s masterpiece, “Rejoice, O Virgin” and excerpts from Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and Handel’s “Messiah.”

Several soloists will join the concert, while an audience sing-along of favorite Christmas carols will be included.

The concert is free to the public. Complimentary refreshments will also be available, including delicious Greek pastries. Donations are appreciated and will benefit the St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church building fund.

The Allerton United Methodist Church is at 104 Allerton Road, west of Route 31.
