Conference on Greek-Turkish Cooperation to be Held in Thessaloniki

The Greek-Turkish Chamber of Northern Greece is organizing a one-day-conference on the theme “Greece-Turkey: cooperation challenge” on November 26, at 6pm, at the Foyer Hall of Hyatt Regency Hotel in Thessaloniki. The event is being held within the multi-conference “Money Show 2011”.
The conference aims at pointing out the possibilities and profit of developing new business and commercial activities in the two neighboring countries despite the current recession.
Moreover, examples of companies based in both Greece and Turkey will be presented in an attempt of understanding and analyzing possible financial or legal difficulties the businessmen had to face and how they solved them.
The event will be attended by prominent businessmen, politicians and journalists from both countries, such as the Consul General of Turkey in Thessaloniki Mr. Tuğrul Biltekin and the Mayor of Thessaloniki Mr. Yiannis Boutaris, OEY A consultant and head of the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs of Northern Greece Mr. Alexandros Alexiadis, president and CEO of ALUMIL Mr. Georgios Mylonas, member of the board of the Commercial Chamber of Istanbul Mr. Dsrafil Kuralay, member of the Council of Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkey and president of the Greek-Turkish Business Council Mr. Selim Egeli and president of Turkey’s New Businessmen Mrs. Burcu Akdari.
