Tina Sardisco also known as Switkowski, 29, was charged with reckless assault after causing brain injuries to a 6-month-old baby she had been babysitting by shaking, slamming, or throwing her.
The accused woman pleaded not guilty on Tuesday and the court let her out of jail so she could get back home and take care of her own children.
Her attorney told News 10NBC that he was told the injured baby is doing fine now. According to him, the babysitter had tried to save the baby’s life when she caused her the injuries. The child had stopped breathing and Tina Sardisco did everything she could to revive it.
