Greece holds the first place in the preferences of Polish tourists, followed by Spain and Italy.
According to the TourismĀ Company of the Ionian Islands, the Greek destinations that are mostly in demand by Polish tourists are Crete and Rhodes, the Ionian islands, with Zakinthos being the most popular.
This year, there has been a significant drop in the number of Polish tourists at the islands. “However, with the observed upward trend it seems that from an alternative source of revenue, they converted to reservoir inflows in the basic travel exchange”, as mentioned by the Tourism Company of Ionian Islands. Ā It was stated that the forecasts of market for the next tourist season as it concerns Polish tourists is very optimistic.
