Over 30 schools in Patras, Achaia, are still being occupied by students since last week.
On his behalf, the provincial directos of education, Mr George Panagiotopoulos, asked the protesters to stop the occupations and reopen the schools.
He declared: “Due to the extremely adverse situation, in which is now the educational community because of the occupation in numerous schools of the country, I feel obliged to appeal again to all stakeholders. Today, more than ever it is really necessary to have schools open”.
