Negotiations, Christofias – Eroglu Meeting Today

Cyprus’ president Demetris Christofias and Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu met on Thursday as part of intensified talks at the buffer zone in Nicosia. As usual, the two Cypriot leaders met at the residence of U.N. Secretary General’s Special Envoy in Cyprus, Lisa Buttenheim. Eroglu and Christofias will continue to discuss the issue of ”Property” as they did on Tuesday. Intensified talks in Cyprus began on July 25 and will continue until October 21.
The Cypriot leaders will have a tripartite meeting with the U.N.
Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in New York at the end of October.
