The Australian Hellenic Memorial is in remembrance of Greek Australians who lost their lives and remain under Greek soil. This Memorial is found in the Domain Gardens in Melbourne.
On September 25, the Greek Australian Community will honor the ten years of the building of the memorial, which indicates the respect and love that people had to their beloved persons.
The memorial represents the mutual respect and understanding that both nations should show to each other. Friendship and freedom are ideals which should prevail and be passed to the next generation.
