Oldest Member of Cypriot Community in London Passes Away


Costas Paschalis, the oldest member of the Cypriot Community in London, died at the age of 102 years old, on September 7th. He was very patriotic and involved in many Cypriot issues while in London.

According to RIK channel, he was born in Nicosia and moved to London in 1936. He opened a restaurant with his brother and was good friends with many influential people.

C. Paschalis served for the British army and with his brother, bought the appropriate mechanisms to print the community newspaper.
