A. Samaras, leader of New Democracy, proposed to implement new, more effective policies. According to Samaras, a permanent Deputy Budget Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister are necessary to prevent economic and political mistakes.
The New Democracy leader noted that these deputies will be appointed by the the majority of the Parliament, 3/5, and will serve in their positions for 5 years.
Samaras is in a position to propose possible deputies ministers, with the agreement of the majority of the Greek Parliament. The goal is to create a strong reaction to the government’s decisions, and the opposition party can actively take part in the politics.
