The former Mayor of Igoumenitsa made a serious mistake that has landed him in deep trouble, when he sent a handgun and 47 bullets by post to an engineering technician.
The technician had visited the former Mayor to repair his PC a few days earlier, and realized, after he had left the Mayor’s house, that he had forgotten an antenna there. The technician asked the Mayor to send it by post. When he received the package, instead of the expected antenna, the technician received a gun and bullets. He went immediately to report the incident to the police.
The case has been sent to the General Attorney.
