According to the Hellenic Statistical Authority on Friday, Greek inflation fell to 3.3% to 2.4% in July due to the summer sales period and lower pharmaceutical prices.
In a report, the Statistics Service stated that harmonized inflation rate also dropped this past month from 3.1% to 2.1% .
There has been a 0.5% drop in the prices of food and beverages, a 13.6% drop in clothing and footwear, a 2.1% drop in durable goods, and a 0.8% drop in pharmaceutical prices.
Transport prices, however, rose 0.5%
